This is why I offer flexible payment options designed to ease the financial burden. Whether you prefer to pay in manageable monthly installments, in thirds, or with a fully customized schedule, you can choose the plan that works best for you while ensuring your manuscript receives the attention it deserves.
FLEXIBLE PAYMENT SCHEDULES
Customize your payment plan with flexible installments, whether it be in biweekly increments or monthly. I will work with your schedule to make payments manageable, making it easier to budget while getting the professional help your book deserves.
*One-third of the total is nonrefundable.
PAYMENT IN THIRDS
By default, unless the author requests of a different payment option, I book by this method. The first payment is due at booking, the second due at start of the project, and the final third upon delivery. This option may be better for clients who prefer a structured, predictable schedule, reducing the complexity of managing multiple small payments.

Paying a one-time full upfront, payment unlocks an automatic 20% discount on your total package. This option offers you a swift, effortless way to save when it matters the most in your publishing journey.

EFA Rates Comparison
The Editorial Freelance Association (EFA) lists the average for the industry-standard editorial rates. I’ve listed the editing types that I perform so you can compare my rates to ones listed on the EFA’s website as of 2024. Although I carry additional training in my book editing career, I left that option checked to “No” under “Additional Professional Training” for the sake of seeing the lowest rate available for a manuscript of 100K words, as additional training warrants a higher rate.
